The Aggie Spirit
Athletic event at A&M are a huge social event. We have some spectacular teams and have won numerous championships in everything from soccer to golf to track to equestrian events. Football and basketball are by far the favorite sports for students and school pride is HUGE.
Intramurals are also very popular and we have an excellent recreational center. It includes a rock wall, outdoor pool, indoor pools, basketball courts, volleyball courts, raquetball courts, a top-of-the-line weightroom, and numerous cardio machines.

Parking
Texas A&M has numerous parking lots and several parking garages. Yearly parking permits are a little expensive, but much cheaper that many other schools. Parking rules are highly enforced and tickets are given out often. Campus is very biker-friendly and the university bus system is very extensive, reaching out to many parts of town.

The Ins and Outs of Texas a&M
The biggest thing that sets Texas A&M apart is the sense of community. The Aggie family, really is that, a family. Upon meeting any current of former student there is an immediate bond simply due to the fact that you are both Aggies. I have seen so many acts of kindness, so much generosity, and so many people willing to go out of their way to help their fellow Aggies. Once an Aggie, always an Aggie, and always ready to help another Aggie.
Another great thing about Texas A&M is the level of involvement on the part of students. The university has over 800 student clubs and almost everyone I know is involved in at least one. The organizations do a great job of plugging students in, building community, and reaching out to the community.
Other wonderful aspects of Texas A&M include the career center, which holds numerous career fairs; conferences for incoming freshman, including Impact and Fish Camp; and all of the traditions that are so integrated into campus life.
