Freshman
As a freshman you are assigned possibly the worst places to live. Everything is dorm style ie communal bathroom, laundry, no kitchens. The dorms are kept clean as are the bathrooms. Best freshman girl dorms are Lora Robins. Best dorms overall is Lakeview and the Forest Apartments.

Experience
So far Richmond has been a wonderful place. If you're coming from a big city it might be a shock and take a while to adapt but you'll find your place in Richmond. It's very small so you know everyone from the athletes to the dancer to the musician to the average student. Professors are extremely helpful. Although the night scene isn't ideal you still have lots of fun.
