Cultural Events
Texas A&M has a very thick culture of traditions, that date back to the start of the University. These traditions include: Midnight Yell, not walking on the grass, kissing your date when A&M scores at the football games, and Silver Taps.

I recently went to a transfer camp called T-Camp. There were people from all around the globe. Students from Mexico to England. I also met people of different sexual orientation. In every city there are going to be people of different economic background and Texas A&M is no exception.

Greek Students
My best friend is in a very popular sorority at Texas A&M, and is currently helping with Rush. I am not taking part in a sorority, however, I think it is a great way to become involved. There are very many other oppertunities to become involved that do not have to do with Greek Life, however.
