A World Community
Here at FIT you have a very diverse community. Tons of people of different races and ethnicities, it just an awesome mix.
Girls are nice and outgoing, very creative when dressing, after all it's a fashion school. But you dont have to worry about competition or having the latest brands or being on top of the fashion trend. It's easy to make friends and they are the highest percentage of the population. Girls are original, and even though some people think working with many girls is a disadvantage I feel in general we all get along really well.
Guys NO! Not everybody who decides to study fashion is GAY. Even though I've met quite alot of them here I've also met straight guys. This college offers wonderful programs for everyone NOT just design. They all seem to be very welcoming and also dress very creatively.
Its just awesome, the mix, the spirit , the creativity , the mood. Its just great to be surrounded by people working for a common goal. Open minded, liberal but responsible.

Your Hot Then Your Cold (8)
The weather here is pretty ok. When its cold people hang around inside where its warm and cozy only go out to smoke if they have to and they have special activities for snow days (like watch a movie and have hot chocolate). Class is cancelled or delayed when its really heavy snow. Which gives everyone the opportunity to arrive on time or sleep in haha or do homework. As soon as the sun comes out and the skies start to clear up, its like magic. Everyone's outside! Together eating talking you name it.
So the weather is not a hassle here
