Depends on Where You Go
Most computers are acceptable, with few bugs, but not state-of-the-art. Some places like the Engineering school are obviously more high-tech, but computers in Dedman (science and liberal arts) could use some upgrading. I would think it would be very inconvenient to not have my own computer or printer, if only because I wouldn't want to walk to the library.

Convenient, Meal Plans Are Expensive Though
Everyone will get tired of eating at a dining hall every day, but honestly the food at Umphrey Lee has a good variety and good quality. In general on-campus dining is best experienced with someone who knows what's good and what to avoid, but the dining staff are always looking for improvements and actually value student input. The best bet in terms of meal plans is to get some meals and some flex dollars, unless you largely eat off campus. That way you can get plenty of regular meals and a good amount of convenience items (plus you can use your flex dollars for a limited few school supplies, if you have to).

Expensive, Lots of Choices
CRAZY expensive, people at home tell me how much they pay for rent and it is a fraction of what I pay. However, my apartment is very convenient, so close I might as well be on campus. There is a good selection in my neighborhood as well as complexes in the area, from walking distance to short driving distance.
