The Possibility of Co-Ops
we now have three co-operative living options on campus - Ferry Haus, the vegan co-op, the vegetarian co-op (fondly known as the Beige Buddha), and the omnivore co-op (sometimes fondly and unofficially known as MeatHouse). Although dorm living at Vassar is comparatively good, the co-ops are really an excellent option. Each house works hard to create a community, cooking and planning meals together, sponsoring bands and other artists for house shows, and sometimes sponsoring various community projects.

No Greek Life at Vassar
I am excited to say that greek life has never, hopefully never will, be part of Vassar College.

Excellent! Fate?!!
As I come to the end of my time here at Vassar, I have come to understand how lucky I was to end up at this school. I was lucky because I had the freedom to explore my academic possibilities, which led me on a journey from drama to political science to pre-med studies to my major in anthropology and sociology, a minor in hispanic studies, and extracurricular interests in theater and gender issues. I cherish the friends that I have met here, and I respect my professors.
