Does anyone know anything about the human rights program and its affiliation with the Columbia Institute for Human Rights?

Does anyone know anything about the film department? How reputable is it? Are there theory and production classes? Internship opportunities?

the film department is tiny and barely anyone majors in it. i think there are 5-6 film courses offered/semester (very very few) and you are encouraged to take film courses within the 5 college consortium. don't go to smith for film...

How much are test scores looked at and weighed in the admissions process? Are things like recommendations and essays more important? Also, do they accept and recommend a portfolio/supplement?

Test scores are important, but not the only thing looked at in admissions. Recommendations, essays, and transcripts are all looked at as important components of the application. Portfolios and supplements are accepted.
