Despite Recent Hate Crime, Campus Retains Small-Town Feel
Many students feel that a recent hate crime committed on campus has shaken our faith in our safety and security on campus. However, in my experience Williams is extremely safe in general. I'm sure people steal sometimes but I've never heard of or experienced it; just take the obvious precautions. Campus Security is very helpful and relatively lax on drinking (beer in the common room but keep hard alcohol out of sight).

Attractive Guys and Girls
Because of the prominence of the athlete population, most people typically don't spend much time during the school week getting dressed up/looking nice--you'll see a lot of sweat pants and tee shirts. Also a lot of northeast prep (not in an obnoxious way though). That said, there is definitely an abnormally high percentage of attractive people at Williams.

Questbridge Helped Me Soooo Much
Both Questbridge RD Admits and Questbridge Matches get pretty equal financial aid at Williams (full ride including books). Williams now does loans again as of this year or last year, which is a bummer for the non-Questbridge, slightly more middle-class student. Overall, though, WIlliams gives incredible financial aid.
