Greeks Run OU
Greek life is pretty much all over OU. You can have an enjoyable experience at the school if you aren't greek, but as a non-greek it is pretty tough to get involved in campus organizations. The student governments, the union board, even a lot of the church organizations are dominated by Greek life.
However, it's really easy to get into the parties as a non-greek.

Drinking IS More Popular
I knew somebody my freshmen year who was into pot. He said he didn't know hardly anyone on campus who was into it- he said they all drank.
I personally don't do either, and at OU I have never felt any pressure to partake. It is a dry campus, and while it's hard to believe that's pretty true. Most of the frat parties take place out of their houses, at a hotel or event center. It's nice that it's off campus because it makes the campus a lot safer. Also they rent buses to shuttle them to and from the parties to their frat/sorority houses, so drunk driving is pretty minimal.

No Big
Oklahoma weather is crazy, 75 and sunny one day, snowing the next, and a tornado the week after.
But OU's campus isn't too spread out, so the weather has never presented a problem for me. If the weather is wretched, I'll just cut through other buildings to get to the one I'm going to. Also, you hardly have to worry about walking through the snow. Pretty much if snow is sticking, class will be canceled.
