Athletic Centers
The facilities at RIT are really good. The gym is two stories, there's two pools, a hot tub, and sauna. In the one pool there is a lazy river. The student life center also includes the field house which is a large gym area. There's another gym, tons of fields including a turf field, and an ice rink.

It's Nice to Have a Kitchen
Freshman are required to live in the dorms, after freshman year you have the option to move to an on-campus apartment. It's nice to have a kitchen when you move into an apartment, you have to supply your own furniture though unless you move into University Commons or Global Village.

Parking Is Awful.
Living off campus isn't a bad option, it's either cheaper or about the same pricing as RIT housing depending on where you live. The only thing is parking lots at RIT always fill up, it's hard to find a spot.
