Good Mixture of People
There is a good mixture of guys and girls at Binghamton. It honestly is one of the most mixed universities that I have been too. There is a lot of diversity among the types of clothing people wear, what they like to do, how they act, and their backgrounds in general.

You will find everything here.
Everything at Binghamton University is really different. There are people from all different backgrounds and they each engage in different things. There is a wide variety of clubs here, of which one is sure to get your interest and if there isn't a specific type of club that you are looking for, you can start one of your own. Each dining hall has a section that is different from the last, so it mixes up the food quite a bit. In addition, each housing community is also extremely different from one another and is known for separate things. Moreover, just the general student population and faculty and staff is made up of diverse people. I personally love this aspect of Binghamton because it lets me learn about other cultures and meet new people.

Absolutely Love it.
To tell you the truth, Binghamton was definitely not one of my first choices when I was deciding where to go to college; in fact, it was actually one of my safeties. But in the end, it came down to money and the fact that Binghamton has an amazing school of management. I do not regret the choice that I made one bit. Everyone here is so outgoing and friendly that they make you feel right at home. Yes, there isn't too much to do outside of campus but I don't feel like that is a huge factor in my experience at Binghamton. There are plenty of activities to do on and around campus that you will always be busy. Again, I love my experience at Binghamton so far and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Very convenient.
Although Binghamton is not in the most desirable location, it does has many services that make it very convenient to off-campus services. For instance, there are buses that run practically every hour that take you to the most popular places off campus. In addition, the cab rides here are very decently priced as you can get a cab for $3. Furthermore, they have campus buses that will take you home for the holidays and they have a shuttle that will take you to the bus station is you are taking another bus company home. For this reason, I would say that Binghamton University does a good job of providing transportation services to their students.

A for Academics
Binghamton University's academics is considered the best of the SUNY system by many critics. It is diverse because there are 5 schools at Binghamton: Harpur, School of Management, Watson School of Engineering, Decker Nursing School, and the College of Community and Public Affairs. The Professors are very accessible for help between office hours and use of Blackboard. The faculty is composed of reputable professionals.
