Strictness is not really an issue on campus; if anything I think it's the opposite. There are some people who have gotten numerous citations and are still allowed to come back to campus the next semester/year. On campus, you're not supposed to play drinking games and most times if someone in authority catches people drinking, they are more focused on underage than those of age playing games.

Interesting Process – Overall, the off-campus housing option is a nice one. The apartments nearby aren't incredibly expensive, depending on where you look. The traffic gets hard as well as parking on campus, but as long as you leave early for class you will have no problem. The housing staff had decided that no one should be able to move off until they are 21 years old; this posed a problem considering that they couldn't offer enough housing for everyone on campus and the majority of the current senior class is under 23. Opening the off-campus option to the current class was a definite pro of the housing options.

Some Good, Some Bad – The freshman dorms tend to be the older buildings, which need the most help. For example, my freshman year my dorm had a leak from the fourth floor all the way to the second floor. The new dorms that were built for upperclassmen are nice, especially the apartment-style dorms, but the suite style dorms have some issues with the heating and cooling systems. More specifically, some rooms, controlled by the same A/C unit, will be close to 80 degrees while others are 55 degrees all winter. The social atmosphere is pretty good, except that parties tend to get really loud and obnoxious from any point in the building. With the on-campus housing, it is required to get a meal plan, which isn't always the best option for everyone living on campus.
