I'm a Mississippi native and am currently starting my last semester at my local community college. I got a 23 on my ACT and by the time i leave my community college i should have around a 3.3 GPA. I volunteer at a local 501(C)3 non-profit animal rescue every single day and i have for the past nearly 4 years. I was a section leader in the marching band in college and a member of Phi Theta Kappa for a while but my GPA dropped a bit. How do you guys think my chances are at getting into UM?

I think you seem like a good candidate. Your ACT score is good and you have a lot of extracurricular work you have done. Keep up the GPA and try your best to get it a little higher-- good luck!

Does the Internet in the dorms at the University of Miami allow the use of Xbox live or the Playstation Network?

Yes

Yup. Theres wifi and ethernet in every room.
