Virginia Tech has been nationally ranked several times for it's dining programs, and was ranked 1st in the nation for a while. The food is great. Lot's of options as well from quick and convenient to nicer more expensive and cheap buffets.

Perspective from a Non-Greek

I'm not in Greek life and thats not a problem. Tech has the option if you want it and there are plenty of different fraternities and sororities, some on campus, some off. They don't dominate the college atmosphere, but there is a big enough group that if you want to be a part, there'll be plenty of things to do.
