A Lot of Variety
Everybody always gets the wrong idea about Scripps. Just because it's a women's college doesn't mean there aren't any men or boys(whatever's your preference) around. There are a lot different sort of women at Scripps, itself. Every stereotype you can imagine and even mixes of stereotypes. It's never hard to find your own type of people or find a significant other right at Scripps. Because Scripps is part of a 5 College Consortium - most extracurriculars, classes, athletics and facilities are shared by all, so which means there is plenty of testosterone floating around. Then it really comes down to the individual, if you would like to make that little bit of extra effort to be friends with whoever you want to be friends with, regardless of which college they go to. Also just a heads up, there are plenty of beautiful women and good looking men around who come from all walks of life, race, place, so just take your pick!

If You Are Really Into It, This Is Probably Not the Place
I don't have any particular interest in Athletics so I never cared about that factor when I was choosing colleges. I don't know much but I do know that there are two intercollegiate teams. Scripps is part of CMS - Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College and Scripps College. And the other intercollegiate team is PP - Pomona and Pitzer College. There are wide variety of teams and sports to play here but the fan support is pretty low, it's pretty much your friends who will go to your games and the handful of people from the colleges who love that particular sport. Football does get crowded though because there is homecoming and what not. Facility wise, I think the athletic facilities are great because I have never heard anyone complaining about it. However, if you want to go to a college for a great sports scene, I suggest you tour Scripps and ask around and check out the type of sports scene we have because I think it's not that exciting.

Easy Parking
Permit Costs are only, I think, $100 per semester. Much cheaper than a lot of state schools. Most who have cars and are able to drive them down to California, keep them on campus. There is enough parking for everyone with a car. Parking fines by Campus Security are not really paid much attention too because they are not 'real' parking tickets.
