Not a Whole Lot to Do...
...but you'll grow to love upstate New York. Autumn here is amazing. There isn't much going on in downtown Syracuse, but the best bars are there.

If You Get Luck...
...off-campus housing can be great. In order to get a good house, though, you'll have to sign a lease in the Fall before you move in (for example, I signed a lease in September 2010 and moved in August 2011)

There Is Always a Party, Somewhere
There's always something happening just off campus. House parties really take the cake here, although Greek life is big too.

Really Depends on the Program
The Architecture, Communications, and Industrial Design programs are all ranked in the top-5 in the country. However, there are a LOT of idiots here, and it seems like outside of a few majors like those listed above (in addition to engineering) nobody works hard at all.

Ugh
it seems like every girl here is the same as the next one: vapid, annoying, and wealthy. You'll see hundreds of girls wearing the school uniform (uggs, leggings, hoodies, and ray-bans). That said, they tend to be very attractive (although not as much as they make themselves out to be) and friendly. There are also plenty of girls who are different than the rest, and that fact in itself makes them seem more attractive.
