It's New York City, It's Expensive
It's hard to find an affordable apartment in new york city. Much harder to find one close to all of the NYU buildings. Easy if you have money, hard if you don't. You could move out to one of the boroughs but if you want to be close to school then, good luck!

Depends on Who Catches You
Some RA's are more lenient than others. But you have to be careful because RA's are always on duty, and that RA may not be the one on your floor, and may be stricter than your own. If you're going to do something illegal, be careful.
