Lafayette College Scene
Lafayette College has a picturesque campus, in the city of Easton, right off the Delaware River. The whole college is on a hilltop and you can see the city of Easton from the edge of the stairs at the top of the hill. Easton is well known for being home to Lafayette and the Crayola Factory. There are not many shopping areas outside of the Lehigh Valley Mall, but the activities on campus are very fun and engaging and keep the students occupied. The new sports center is also a plus, which has a swimming pool, basketball courts, a weight room, and a rock climbing wall. The local attitude towards students is very welcoming. The Easton residents love to chat about what's going on at the top of the hill. Although it is not a very multicultural school, Lafayette tries to accommodate students of all backgrounds.

Dining Options Off Campus
There are very few fast food restaurants off campus. The only ones are McDonalds, Subway, and Dunkin' Doughnuts. There are a few pizzerias and cafes, but besides that, you would need a car or take the LCAT shuttle bus to go to any fine restaurants. The cost is average, and the best ice-cream can be found at Purple Cow Creamery, which offers student discounts.

School Policies
Lafayette is not very strict in terms of students' social lives. They want you to enjoy your time at here, and they try to plan fun events so that students are always engaged. The punishments are not so severe if you do harmless things. But it's easy to get in trouble for drinking underage, or doing drugs.
