Not Half Bad Down in the Natti
Down in Cincinnati, it's all about the chili. Chile is relatively cheap, which is a good thing, but it's not fine dining. Cincinnati is also home to a world class BBQ restaurant Montgomery Inn which is fantastic, but very expensive. I'd say sample the chili for the experience, go to Montgomery Inn.

It Could Be Worse
There is a lot of parking but not a lot of good parking. Twenty percent of students may get to the "good" parking area. The rest are stuck in the upper lot which is really far away from anything students need to get to. Also the parking is strictly regulated, because the campus police have, quite literally, nothing better to do.

The Jesuit Tradition Makes a Community of Excellance
The school is a catholic university and the school is one of the most liberal schools I have ever seen. By that I mean that the school is accepting of all kinds including LGBT members and other religions. In fact in 2007, the university host gay pride. I simply can't say enough about the environment that Xavier university has created.

For the Most Part Good
The facility are good overall, it really depends on your course of study. The science facilities are good and a new college of business is under construction. The student union building is gorgous, easily one of the best I've seen. The music and theater areas are not very spectacular.

Good at the Beginning . . . Bad by the End
The food is good starting off with decent variety and pretty good taste all around. By the end of the year it is pretty bad. There is really nothing worth eating at the cafeteria. The dining outside of the cafeteria is pretty limited, but good.

It's There, but Not Great
The alcohol scene is there but not really prevalent. They are pretty leinant for first time offenders, but they have no mercy for future incidents. If you are drunk in public and a cop stops you, being honest will usually get you off the hook. There is no pressure to go and drink. There is always plenty to do that does not involve drinking.
