Just Ok. Anywhere on campus is a 15-minute walk maximum. Going off campus would require a cab, which is very easy to call, although the cabbies aren't always friendly. There are bus routes to downtown South Bend. The nearby South Bend Airport has some connections and others can fly into Chicago and take a bus to Notre Dame. Around breaks, there are usually buses that take large amounts of students to large cities, such as Philadelphia, etc.

Mostly Good – Parking for visitors is free and the lot attendants are very amicable. Parking for students is not a far walk.

Sure, there are probably drugs here as there are at any college. But I haven't witnessed it or met anyone who participates. No peer pressure to do drugs.
