More Intense Than You Would Think
the greek life is played out to be not as intense as bigger schools such as drexel, penn state... this is false...very intense and time consuming, they make the pledges do stupid things...it depends if you are into that kind of stuff...takes over your life

it was rough at first but i am now at the end of my 2nd semester and i love it...once you get the feel for things around here it is awesome.

Two Sides of City Ave
the lower merion side of city ave, narberth and merion station, etc- is a very nice neighborhood... it is a great place to jog (during the day!) or go for a walk... the other side is kind of sketchy...there have been so many armed robberies within the first semester of the 2010 school year on the philly side of city ave... beware of the night time because that is when people will get you walking alone! never walk alone ever !!!
the school atmosphere is awesome though, i love it- spirit is great

Lax Bros
it seems like the majority of the boys at sju are either lax bros or are trying to be... most girls typically dress in skin tight outfits at night and cheesy outfits or are fans of the sweatpants or class look...

Better as You Get Older and Get to Know the Area
frats will usually have parties...they are fun when they are kept under control and dont have a million people there or dont get busted... the sports teams usually have parties in manayunk which are usually a good time... when 21, the bar scene is awesome in manayunk and the city...sju is great because you always have options: if you dont want to stay around here you can always take the train or get a cab to drexel or penn, which always has something going on...temple and villanova are also easily accessed
