Computers at University of Tennessee

A-

Usually Plenty of Options

There are plenty of computer labs on campus and they almost all have printing for 2 cents a page or in some departmental student lounges, free. The computers in the library get really crowded during peak hours such as lunch, but there are tons of smaller computer labs in other buildings that no one knows about, so it's worth exploring places like student lounges, the UC, and Presidential Court for their computer labs that are often less crowded. The network is generally reliable and fast, except sometime the dorm connection can get bogged down at night with everyone on it.

Guys & Girls at University of Tennessee

B-

Everyone Is the Same

Most girls dress generically the same and most guys do as well. Popular on campus is pricey outdoors' brand such as Patagonia and Mountain Hardwear despite the fact that most people that wear it wouldn't go camping if they were paid to.

If you get past the majority, there are plenty of people with diverse interests, especially if you stay clear of the Greek system.

Diversity at University of Tennessee

A-

It's There If You Look for It

There is plenty of Diversity on campus. Many Professor's and TA's are from different countries and UT also has a very strong international student program. Some students choose to get very involved in diversity programs, and there are plenty to choose from. Students that don't get particularly involved, still are accepting of diversity.

Athletics at University of Tennessee

It' Great to Be a Tennessee VOL

there is nothing like football time in Tennessee! Sure our team hasn't done too great the past few seasons, but the fans still come and every game is still a huge event! Also, many of our other sports do very, very well in the nation. Most sporting events are free to students, except football which is usually $10.

Weather at University of Tennessee

A-

Usually Great

In the fall it can sometimes be too hot, like still in the 80s and 90s and very humid! However, the rest of the year it is usually very nice, not too cold. We rarely get snow, though we do get a lot of rain. Spring is absolutely beautiful in Knoxville!
