What to Eat?

There are several restaurants just less than 5 miles radius of the campus. My favorite is this small sushi restaurant that is neatly tucked behind a pizza place. It has delicious and fresh sushi and the chefs are very nice. For more quicker grabs, there is Wrappidup, which has variety of burritos that you can either grilled or deep-fried! It gives CSUN students discount and already had everyone's attentions because it just started this year. It's perfect walking distance from the campus (and from my apartment)

Earning Scholarships Can Help Greatly!

With all the budget cuts, it doesn't hurt to apply for scholarships. They will help a lot with future tuition fees and book costs. Also applying for financial aid help but I do not get accepted for grants only for loans. I do not accept loans but instead my vocational rehabilitation counselor provide payment for my tuition as long I fit in their needs. But if I fail a class, I will get warning. I fail again then I will get suspended for a year. It's important to really keep watch of your grade and meet with VR counselor to see where you are at.
