It's Your Education
What drew me to the University of Vermont was it's fantastic and well known environmental program at the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. The education you get out of UVM is a reflection of what you put into it. Professors and extra help are always available for students with needs or who just have questions or want guidance. There are countless courses to choose from in a large number of subject areas. Class sizes vary as does workload, which depends on the number of credits a student chooses to take on.

Computers Everywhere
Computers can be found everywhere on campus. There are various computer labs, which can be found in nearly all buildings. Lab classes that involve computers can get crowded and computer availability at the library is always competitive. However, wireless is available almost everywhere on campus and in nearly all classrooms. The wireless network is very fast and reliable.

Surprising Disappointment
As an incoming freshman I received a really good amount of financial aid including work study and an out-of-state grant. Without the amount of financial aid that I was awarded by being a good student and filling out my FAFSA I wouldn't have been able to attend UVM. However, the next year the university took away a significant amount of my financial aid even though I am still a good student and filed my FAFSA on time. This was a disappointing surprise and is now causing me to struggle with tuition payments.
