Berkeleyian Atmosphere
Berkeley is bustling with local attractions, including museums, farmers' markets, lovely book stores one can get lost in for hours. Also, it is easily reachable by public transportation and thus close to San Francisco. Eateries abound and range from cheap to gourmand-price levels, but worth splurging for at times.

Berkeley Computers
Many computer labs available on campus but definitely crowded around finals. The network has been malfunctioning lately but news is that the entire system is being updated so that's something to look forward to. There are many places to print on campus, but I always feel the need to have my own computer with me.

Berkeley Transport
Berkeley makes students pay for the local bus system, which is quite reliable. Buses run every 15 minutes to most spots around campus and transport you all around Berkeley. There are two Bart train stations in the vicinity that are very close. Most eateries and housing establishments are within walking distance!
