You Can Almost Always Find a Computer to Use
Kenyon has multiple computer labs all over campus, many of which are open 24/7. Most students at Kenyon have their own laptops and the entire campus has wifi, however, students will sometimes need to use the school computers to access special programs. The circulation desk in the library allows students to check out macbook computers to use for a certain amount of time. Printing on campus is always free, which is nice, but some of the printers malfunction on occasion.

Housing Is Guaranteed
The nice thing about Kenyon's housing program is that every student is guaranteed to have a place to live on campus. Kenyon has some of the best examples of collegiate-style gothic architecture in the country, and the dorm Old Kenyon was build in 1827, making it the oldest building on campus. This creates a unique living experience for students, as there is a section of campus with "historic dorms" and a section of campus with newer living spaces. I prefer the older dorms. However, since they are so old, aren't flashy on the inside. They have wireless, electricity, and up-to-date plumbing, but they definitely have an "old" feel. The options for off-campus housing are slim, but Kenyon does have a variety of different options, including apartments, that feel like they are off campus.

You Are Treated Like the Adult That You Are
Kenyon's strictness level is fantastic. Our campus is incredibly safe, and we just recently switched over to the proximity card system to get into dorms. There is no curfew, you can be almost anywhere on campus at any time, and you are allowed to have non-student guests for up to three days. As long as students do not violate the safety restrictions, there are rarely problems.

Not a Lot, but It Gets the Job Done
Mount Vernon has some pretty good Indian restaurants as well as a good variety of chain fast food places. There is also a Ruby Tuesday, which everyone likes. The restaurants in Gambier are very good, but a little pricey. Most of them use local meats and vegetables.

It's Great to Be an Athlete at Kenyon
The school in general supports sports, but the athletes here are especially supportive of other teams. Our swim team is legendary, and we have a lot of really talented teams that are fun to watch. Also, in my opinion, we have one of the best athletic facilities in the country.
