The town is very small, and is very connected to the college. They completely depend on each other. There are a few restaurants and bards, but there is not a lot to do in terms of cultural activities. The Vermonters are very friendly in general, and that includes towards students. There are a lot of places to hike, swim, ski, and camp around the area which is a benefit.

Campus Life at Midd
Almost all students live on campus all four years, and the school does a good job making campus life interesting. There are parties, concerts, speakers, and activities all of the time. It is very convenient because everywhere is accessible on foot. Most students spend all of their time socializing on campus, because there are very limited options off-campus.

Off-Campus Housing
Hardly anyone lives off-campus, because you have to enter a draw to get permission and there are limited options. In addition, if you don't have a car, it makes it hard to live off-campus, especially in winter.
