The Wifi is okay, but it's worse this year than last. It's nice to have your own computer, especially during midterms/finals.

It's a big city, so there are literally thousands of options, all within a few miles. In Hyde Park, there are plenty of options, including Mexican, Asian (including three Thai places in a row), and some great "American" options.

UChicago gave me a wonderful financial aid package, but it was a bit of a hassle trying to slog through all of that paperwork.

Chicago, being the third-largest city, has more activity than one could crowd into a thousand lifetimes. The University of Chicago is in a very safe and ethnically-diverse neighborhood. Take the opportunity to explore not only Hyde Park, but the rest of the city as well.
