Diverstiy at NAU
Diversity is prevalent at Northern Arizona University, however it is not abundant. Consequently, the social atmosphere at NAU feels rather bland and closed-minded. Students are not necessarily quick to judge, but are certainly not quick to accept. Native American influence is relatively prevalent, more so than any ethnic, religious, or racial minority, but still minor compared to the hundreds of wealthy white students.

Nightlife
In flagstaff there is hardly any nightlife. Even on campus, the only thing open after 10pm is starbucks. Being a smaller city, there isn't a lot of options for clubbing, parties are boring and full of ignorant students who think underage drinking automatically makes them cool, bad drunks, and no transportation.
