Transferring Credits – When I transferred to this school, I did not experience any problems. All of my classes transferred and I received credit for them.

Bluegrass Program – Vol State now has a Bluegrass Program. They offer lessons on a variety of instruments including guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, dobro, and voice lessons. They offer a Bluegrass Ensemble class and perform year round.

There are many computer labs set up across the school. The network is quick to respond and if you need assistance with anything there are multiple librarians and computer aides available.

Great Experience – Volunteer State Community College is a great school to go to. They have many wonderful teachers that care about your education and are always willing to go the extra mile for you. Aside from that, they also have many events year round to go to. This includes music festivals, culture festivals, sports, and theater.
