It Sucks
There are several parking lots on campus, but students have to pay over $500 for a year-long permit and $70 for a monthly one. The student parking lots nearest to the actual campus are full by 7:30 AM every morning, while staff and professor parking lots have way too much extra space. There are parking lots about two miles from campus that usually have spots, but it's a long walk. Parking officers are not pleasant and give citations with sadistic glee.

It's San Diego
Weather in San Diego is typically mild and the beach is very close to UCSD. People are rarely discouraged from going out by the weather.

It Was Bull
The Cal Grant association awarded me a $10,000 grant for the 2010-2011 school year, but due to the school's separate policies, they were unwilling to actually give it to me. It took two months to finally be given the money, and I'm not currently receiving any financial aid from UCSD. The financial aid officers were very helpful, however.
