Pretty Much What I Expected

I expected basketball games to be the biggest athletic events on campus, and they definitely are. Soccer games are pretty popular, too. Football is fairly well attended, but students tend to come and go throughout the games instead of coming at the beginning and staying the whole time. Facilities are nice for athletes and non-athletes alike.

Alcohol Is Most Popular by Far

Depending on who you're surrounded by, it may seem like there are few opportunities for fun that don't involve drinking. That being said, it IS possible to go down the hill and party without drinking. Other drugs aren't prevalent, but you can find them if you want them. I haven't heard of much use of hard drugs, just the occasional joint or prescription pill, and even then only by a handful of people. And campus police is really good about making sure everyone's safe; you never feel like they're out to get you. Their primary concern is always your safety.
