Everything is fairly expensive, however, it's cheaper than living on campus. The thing you have to watch out for is the Boulder Zoning laws. Technically, you're only supposed to have 3 people per house, but it get's ridiculous doing that price wise. Just go through housing-helpers and talk with the land lords. Most places are fairly close to campus, and the public transport is phenomenal no matter how far away you are.

Very Open- Minded
While racially, we are predominately white, there are people of every background living here. A boulder joke is that we have the most socially diverse group of white people in america. The diversity in ideas is expansive, and everyone is extremely open-minded and friendly to every walk of life regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexual orientation etc.

Fairly Easy
applying for scholarships and the process is relatively simple, and they notify you at a reasonable time, however, because of the steep cost of CU Boulder, scholarships barely make it affordable for in state students.
