One of the Best Schools
I've been at Bard College for three years now and I've loved every minute of it. Classes are small and teachers are available, masters of their fields, and will immediately know you on a first name basis. The students are very open minded and will listen to any argument then counter it with their own. The only reason it's not an A+ because it doesn't have an engineering program and it's sciences are still young. However, the school has been funding science heavily and it's been one of the most rapidly growing programs in the northeast.

Good Luck Finding a Place.
Bard is a small school and doesn't have enough beds to house the entire student body meaning many students live in nearby towns. There are apartments available but the good cheap ones go fast leaving some stuck with overpriced uncomfortable living space. The school doesn't help organize this in any way which can make the process of finding an apartment hectic too.

Lazy Security
Simple rule with this, if you park in the student lots security doesn't check your car for a parking permit. Therefore free parking. Finding a place to park is simple as well. I've never had to look in more then one lot for parking because most of the students will take the shuttle in from town or have their car already on campus and will walk to class.
