Overall Safe in a Bad Area
The surroundings of Geneva College are very unsafe, but the security staff on campus takes extra measures to make the students feel safe. We often receive emails to let us know if we should take extra precautions such as making sure we lock our doors because there was someone seen looking into cars.

Christian-Centered Diversity
Geneva is a Christian-centered college. The college is very accepting to those of different races and ethnicity, economic backgrounds, etc. Generally, everyone has the same beliefs and goals, but I see that as a benefit. However, Geneva does encourage diversity in certain aspects.

Very Helpful!
Geneva College was very helpful with the financial aid process. The counselor that helped me was very informative about applying for scholarships outside of Geneva as well. Other than filling out forms and such, the counselor took care of everything for me.

Open Hours Policy
As a commuter, the campus strictness doesn't really affect me. However, the open hours policy makes it difficult to study with friends of the opposite sex. A lot of the people I study with are the opposite sex, so we have to go to the library or skye on limited hours to get some studying done.

Okay..
The food is alright on campus. There is not a whole lot of variety but the pasta is delicious! A sub is good every once in a while too.

From a Commuter's Perspective
The people at Geneva are extremely nice! Although I don't interact with a lot of people just because I'm barely there, it's easy to get to know people.

Better Than I Thought
The biology program at Geneva is great. It's a great experience to study science rooted in Christian beliefs. All of my professors are readily available to help me with anything I'm struggling with. The group of students in the bio program are also a relatively tight knit group. It's easy to find the answers you're looking for.
