Awesome College Town
Madison, WI is an awesome town to go to college. On campus, there are hundreds of student organizations allowing each student to find their niche. The town itself is extremely bike and pedestrian friendly, so having a car is completely unnecessary. There is always something today, with numerous concert venues close to downtown, as well as numerous opportunities for excellent dining and shopping. When money is an issue, the parks are an excellent alternative to more expensive entertainment. Most parks have large open spaces for soccer, frisbee, and hula hooping, and many parks are located on one of Madison's three lakes. All in all, Madison is an excellent place to go to school, meet people, and have an awesome time.

Sweet Nightlife
There's always something to do at night. There are numerous concert venues, but the university also offers free movies and shows on campus. The onion (av club) and the Isthmus are great places to find something to do!

Slap on the Wrist
Uw-madison isn't very strict when it comes to students' social lives. Plagiarism, however, is a completely different story and results in expulsion. Marijuana smoking is accepted nearly everywhere, and underage drinking is a common phenomenon. Don't do it in the dorms, and you'll be fine. A keg party is usually $5 per cup, and nobody IDs. :)
