Off-Campus Housing at Middle Tennessee State University

A-

A Definate Must

Since being enrolled in MTSU, I opted out of on-campus housing. The dorms are stiff and depressing. But the good things is, there are tons of off-campus housing oppurtunities. The prices are right and you can live in the apartments throughout the summer. There are even a number of complexes were you can walk to campus.

The down fall would be the fact that your living in a community of strictly college students. I can get a little crazy at times (parties, loud music, etc.) So if you like peace and quite, look for a house. It's definately affordable if you can find roomates.

Campus Strictness at Middle Tennessee State University

B

Never a Problem

I never had a problem with law enforcements on campus other than a parking ticket or two. I was able to get them deferred which was great. There should probably be more police on campus to be honest. It couldn't hurt But I tend to stay on the safe side of things. I'm sure if I were trying to get into some trouble it would not that hard.

Parking at Middle Tennessee State University

C

AHHH!

Get a bike if you can. There seems to be more parking lots these days than campus, but the parking can be so far away and fill up fast! Be sure to get there at least 30 minutes to an hour early if you are a commuter.
