Avoid the Library Lab
The campus labs are usually pretty accessible and don't have too much of a wait time, except the computer lab in the library. The line for this one is almost always *extremely* long and not worth waiting for when you can walk across the quad and use the MU one mush faster.

Know the Bike Laws
Bikes are EVERYWHERE on campus, and campus police try to enforce bike laws, such as use of headlights and stopping at stop signs. They TRY to enforce these laws, but they often don't. However, if you use common courtesy you'll probably be able to avoid an accident. If you're driving in a car on or near campus, be wary of bicyclists, because they tend to assume that any cars will get out of their way.

Leave the Car at Home
With the bus service and ample bike paths, driving your car to campus is never a necessity. The buses stop running kind of early, but if you're living on campus, you can call the escort service and they'll make sure you get home safely. It's only a problem if you live off campus, because then you don't really have any transportation options except biking.

Good luck finding a spot
There is ample parking on campus - if you arrive before 9 AM or after 5 PM. Otherwise, the only parking you will find available is what's reserved for faculty and staff. Their lots are NEVER full, but yet they're allowed half of each student lot, as well. They'll happily take your $7 for a one-day parking permit without bothering to let you know that there is no parking available and then they'll absolutely REFUSE to give you a refund. Don't park on campus; take the bus. If you can't take the bus, park on a residential street near campus and then just walk. Parking is a headache and a waste of money.
