OU's Social Work Program Is Tiny
I switched my major after coming here and didn't expect to be in such a little program. But, the good news is it is expanding, and we'll get a new building soon. And the coursework is pretty good. It's just there are not very many of us.

It's Great, but Meal Points Are Weird
I don't understand why I gave H&F $1000 just so they could tell me how to spend that $1000... but the food is good and really convenient.

I refuse to pay $200 to park near class, when I already pay them thousands in tuition every year.

Pretty Safe
It's a little creepy to walk anywhere alone at night, but that's true anywhere, and much less so on campus. Plus, you can call Safewalk at any point and they will walk with you to your destination

Good, but Internet Is Sometimes a Pain
There are plenty of computers available - the only time you can't find one might be in the library at peak hours. But my laptop always has problems with internet going in-and-out in the University apartments. And the Social Work building barely gets any connection at all.

Good but Expensive
The housing experience - at least in the dorms, is excellent. The RAs are typically really good, and there are so many events. There's always something to do and a good place to do it.

There Are Lots of International Students
There are lots of exchange or international students, but the rest of the population is mostly from Texas and Oklahoma, and mostly white.

Pretty Strict
I know the dorms are very strict about alcohol, and some of the RAs are very serious about it. If you are in the greek scene, I guess alcohol is pretty popular, but it's very limited on campus
