The dorms are an ok place for your freshman year. Would I live there again? Absolutely not. With the dorms it depends on the day, it can be really loud or dead quiet. The weekends are typically loud at all hours with drunk Greeks pounding on doors and attempting to fight each other in your hallway. They yell and throw s*** back and forth, its really quite pathetic. But don't worry you learn to sleep through it. The rooms are small, the only good thing is in the Towers you share a bathroom with your neighbor.They charge way too much for what it is worth though. Walking around campus you get bombarded with Sorority/Fraternity shirts and some of them walk around like they own the school, like we're still in high school or something. Others are pretty cool, its just like with every other group, some good & some bad. Don't expect to party your freshman year if your not in a fraternity as that is what freshman year consists of. The Greeks at OU aren't cool like at other universities and let you party regardless, here if your not Greek your not getting in unless you are really good friends with someone.
