Preppy but Friendly
You definitely have a TON of rich private-school kids, but also a bunch of kids from public schools, and then some kids that aren't as wealthy as the norm. You find your niche pretty quickly, but you do have to get involved in campus- they won't come running to you.

Very Involved
It's Georgetown- Basketball is huge. Football has been getting better. Soccer games are fun to attend with friends.

Tons of Opportunities
You're in Washington D.C. If you're bored you are not trying hard enough. If you don't find something to do on campus take a few steps outside the gates and hit up M street, Wisconsin street, and the GUTS buses will take you to the hotspots of Dupont and Rosslyn (where you can access the metro easily.) You can get involved with human rights campaigns on any topic and get involved with really any extracurricular. I did fencing and cognitive science club, for instance.

Way Expensive, but Mandatory
The food is fine (gets repetitive), stir fry and specialty preparations songs are good, but the staff can be very rude sometimes.
It averages out to about 10 dollars a meal if you do the math, which is absurd, but so many students have argued it to no avail. Bring tupperware, get apples, milk it for all it's worth. You can't escape it for two years.

50% Caucasian, Mix of Rest
You see lots of white kids on campus, sure, but there are lots of other races as well. There are so many clubs for diversity that you'd never have to make one. As for religious diversity, you have every possible kind. Economic: mostly rich kids, but personally, a lot of kids here are on financial aid and that's okay.

International Relations/Gov, Languages, Business, and Premed
Those are the major four, and of course you can branch out, but those are the ones you're getting your money's worth for. Legendary scholars are here, and learning from the Jesuits in your Theology classes is a top-notch experience.

Entrance of Dalghren Chapel
The main chapel on campus is Dalghren. It is quite beautiful to look at, especially the windows.
