Campus Is Beautiful
Centenary College has a great campus; it was even featured in a movie recently. But the professors can be a mixed bag. I've had some great professors and I've had some downright awful ones. However for the most part, they each knew their stuff. They were usually very helpful whenever I had a problem. The small campus makes it easy for you to meet people everyday.

Go for the Newer Dorms
I stayed in the Cline dormitory at Centenary College and it just felt dirty and small. The air conditioner frequently went out, and we often had to deal with bugs and weird smells. But despite this, everyone was very friendly. I always found something to do while I was there. But if you're looking for a good dorm, go with one of the newer ones like James hall or Sexton.

Not a Big Deal
Not many people talk about their Greek life. It's there, but it's not a huge part of campus life. I've never joined one, so I don't know what the experience is like.

Randal's Is Great
Randal's has a great selection of food, from pb&j's to burgers and fries. It's great for a late night meal when the cafe is closed. The people that work there are usually nice and know what they're doing.

Not Very Strict
The worst I've heard is how the staff searched the student's rooms for alcohol during Mardi Gras a few years ago. But nothing like that has happened since. Teachers are very liberal for the most part.

Mary Sue Rix Is Very Helpful
If you need help with financial aid, talk to Mary Sue Rix. She will make sure you leave her office with a plan to pay for school. I was struggling to find money to pay for living on campus and she managed to get me what I needed. Very helpful!
