Small and Sparse
DeLand is a small town with not much going on. Orlando is a hike, but Daytona's not too far away, and there's plenty to do there. Embry-Riddle is the closest school, and Stetson students don't really mix with their students.

Most Professors Average at Best
While the professors are mostly knowledgeable in their field, but some are unwilling to work with students and believe that theirs is the most important class (or, for that matter, event) in their student's lives.

Lab Technology Acceptable
Stetson's computer labs are numerous, but public computer technology barely keeps up with current advancements. Printing on campus is usually not a problem, but the network is horrendously slow, usually only at high-traffic times like the start of the semester or class times. Personal computers are recommended.
