The weather in Seattle doesn't change much and neither do people's clothes during class. The most common outfit I see on girls (if they aren't in ROTC or dressed up for an interview or speech, etc.) are black leggings with a North Face jacket and tall rainboots. As the weather gets warmer, you start to see more skin and more people laying out to try and catch some rays before the clouds start to take cover again. The kinds of guys here range from super jocks to frat boys to computer nerds (awesome people, btw) to your troublemakers. The campus is huge and extremely diverse, so there isn't an exact typical personality to find. You've got people who are smiling as they walk through the quad and others jammin' out to their Dr. Dre BOSE headphones. As for those elite D-1 athletes...you always know who they are--they don't have time to wear anything else except their sports gear. That's intense.

Underage Fun
Not many clubs in the immediate area...there are tons of bars right next to campus along the Ave. So if you're over 21, yeahhhhyuh. If not, stick to house parties and frat parties, it's the best because you can just walk back to your pad since the parties are generally close to campus. Or just kickin' it with your buddies wherever. UW police are suuuuper chill so parties only get rolled early if the music is seriously loud and you've got super drunks in front of the house. Frat houses can be fun if you know the people--fun with them can last til the wee hours of the morning. :]

Pretty Much...Sucks
Doesn't fail because I believe you can rent a car from campus, which is pretty convenient. Pretty low score because I hear parking on campus is suuuuper expensive for the permit. Seattle isn't the greatest place to drive, as there's a lot of trafficc by campus all the time. Having a car comes in handy but keeping it on campus is a pain. You can park in Greek row and pay a couple hundred to the house, but it can tally up to quite a walk.
