There isn't any. There are fraternities among faculty and staff that study History.

Only One Computer Lab – There is only one computer lab that is available for all students. The others are only available to students who have been put on a lab list. This is unfortunate as the other labs are bigger and have more computers available and the main computer lab fills up way too quickly.

Good but Could Be Better. The fact is that school lunches are school lunches. That goes for breakfast and dinners. Not the healthiest options but definitely a wide variety. It is better to go off-campus. If you're not a resident sadly you are not allowed to eat in the dining halls because of fear of theft which cuts down on the supposed community aspect the school wishes to boast.

Plently but Some Drawbacks. When time comes for the FPU private scholarship applications to open up it can both be a good or bad thing. There are plenty of scholarships but most preferences are focused on specific majors and on being relations of the person giving the scholarship or the person for whom the scholarship represents.

Peace and Quiet – All I ever see from friends at other schools is how crazy and loud their college experience is. I'm glad that at Fresno Pacific one can just sit and feel peaceful. It's a good place to get your work done.

Internships and Jobs – While I do not know about every major I know that there are great connections available through Fresno Pacific. Locally, schools place a great emphasis on hiring teachers out of Fresno Pacific and through it's connections in other cities and states, internships and possible jobs can be found with a little help from advisers.

The closest parking lots to classes require a permit but there is infinitely more free parking around the campus than in the permit zone. Unfortunately, the free parking is not near the classes but instead by the baseball field. Fortunately, the baseball field is a 2 minute walk.

A Safe Haven Amidst a Rough Area – Unfortunately, Fresno Pacific is not located in the best neighborhood in Fresno. That being said, there is 24 hour campus security, school-wide security alerts through e-mails and text messages, and overall the atmosphere is a very peaceful and safe environment. Just don't mistake that with the environment of the surrounding neighborhoods.
