So all that matter are a students GPA & ACT/SAT scores?

After visiting a number of possible schools and plotting numbers it seems that the most important aspect of admission are the testing scores? I was under them impression much more was considered. Is this just bs and in reality it is all about your testing scores?

Of course not! Extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, and most of all, really good athletics, are all extremely important, as well. Good grades will get you into an academically famous school, but you won't get scholarships.

Does extra-curriculars factor in at all in this decision?

My daughter has been a leader through out her high school years serving as Junior Class president and was just elected Student Body President. She is a very hard working student and will make her presence felt.

LMU definitely incorporates extra curriculars; I have many friends who didn't have the best grades but who were greatly benefited by their other activities

Extra curricular activities are absolutely available. Our school is very big on service and have trips, clubs, organizations and many more events are available for all students interested.
