Syracuse Guys and Girls

Syracuse is a pretty classy school, and almost everyone dresses up for class. This is especially true for students who are in the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications. The girls are pretty and the guys are attractive. The interests of the students vary, but I would say everyone is pretty accepting. The dating scene is that of a typical college dating scene. Some people are in relationships and others just hook up with people of the weekends. It is really up to the student.

Syracuse Weather

Syracuse is notorious for snowy winters, however it isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. In fact, many students love the snow and it creates a sort of campus spirit. Everyone is cold, and there is snow everywhere, but you can always find people willing to sled and build snowmen.

Syracuse University Greek Life

At Syracuse, Greek life plays a big role in the social scene. However, there are options for people who don't want to be involved in Greek life. I am in a sorority and I heve enjoyed every minute of it, however, I still have tons of friends who aren't involved in Greek life at all.

Drug Use at Syracuse University

Like most colleges, Syracuse has drugs and alcohol. However, it really depends on who you hang out with. As far as drugs are concerned, students mostly smoke weed. Drinking is much more popular, however it can be avoided since there are so many other activities around campus every weekend. If a student is caught with drugs or alcohol, there are repercussions however they are not incredibly strict.

Syracuse Univeristy Majors

I absolutely love my major. I am a TV, Radio, Film and Spanish dual and I could not be happier in my programs. S.I Newhouse School of public communications is an amazing place, and I enjoy going to class everyday since the classes are fun and engaging.
