Options at SU
I've eaten in three of the dining halls: Shaw, Ernie Davis and Brockway. I didn't particularly like the food at Shaw. Ernie Davis had good food. But by far, Brockway is the best. It's a 7-10 minute walk from the quad so only the residents of BBB eat there. It's the hidden gem on campus! Plus there's a Burger King and a snack bar on the bottom level. There's all kinds of foods offered. There's always pizza and pasta and cereal and ice cream. But what I think is cool is that they have themed days where they put out foods from different cultures/styles. It's nice. Dining hall food gets old after a while so it's nice to have Marshall Street. There's a Chipotle, Varsity, Insomnia Cookies, Acropolis, Pita Pit and a few other places. They offer nice alternatives.

Housing Options at SU
BBB is the best housing cluster on campus. They're newly renovated and some rooms have hardwood floors! There are multiple elevators for those who live on the higher floors and convenient stairs for those who prefer the extra exercise. It houses the Brockway Dining Hall and Snack Center, has a gym, laundry and game/music area. The rooms in BBB are either split doubles or quads. Both are nice. Other nice dorms are Ernie Davis and Lawrinson.

Diversity at SU
There are a lot of different ethnicities and races represented at Syracuse. The university makes a conscious effort to reach out to all the different groups on campus through email, various clubs and organizations and many other platforms.

Computer Options at SU
The computer clusters operate with Windows and are very slow. However I believe there are Mac and Windows laptops and computer in Bird Library. There are computer cluster with free printing scattered around campus which is convenient. ITS, the group in charge of helping with technology, is helpful. SU operates on a completely wireless network which is great.
