Virginia Tech's transit options are excellent and well thought out. There are a multitude of buses that take you almost anywhere within Blacksburg, and even one that takes you all the way to Christiansburg, and the buses are free if you have your Hokie passport on you. Even if you forget your Hokie Passport, the cost for a trip is only 50 cents. For late night need, there is Safe Ride which will take you anywhere on campus for free and keeps students safe from the night hours.

Hokie Pride
Virginia Tech has been the best experience for me so far. I've met so many people, learned so much from all of my classes, and gotten to know some really great professors. I've had many great opportunities and experiences and I wouldn't change a thing about my time at Virginia Tech.

It would be a lot more help if advisors were able to send out opportunities to save money.
