Campus Security
Campus security is typically on the ball with minor things however, we do have issues with parking lots. They love to give out tickets for parking in the wrong lots...which would be avoided if the school actually sold the correct number of parking permits. The campus is safe, Ive never had an issue walking in the dark or have ever felt uncomfortable even when I stayed over the summer.

Diversity
Here's the deal with our diversity...Allegheny does not take people of one race or color over another just because they need to fill a quota of diversity, they accept the most qualified students who are going to succeed here. You aren't going to get hand outs just because you were born with more or less pigment in your skin. No one here is unaccepting of you regardless of color, race, background, beliefs, or sexuality. We have a strong knit student body with a statement of an inclusive community. There are a ton of different groups on campus that are based around different groups and I've seldom heard of issues regarding discrimination.

Guys and Gals
People here are weird. Flat out odd. But you know what, we're all here to get good grades, learn, and finish our degrees. The social life is ok, you basically have to make your own fun but that typically works out well. I can almost guarantee you'll find someone like you here because there are so many personalities on campus.
